Commemorative Axe Display

An accomplished firefighter in Seattle was awarded (on two separate occasions) a cast bronze and a chromed commemorative ax, but what to do with them? After some years of leaning them up in the corner, the client asked if we could mount them in his study. These custom mahogany backers were designed to fit perfectly in the only available space, while matching the craftsman style of the home. Secure above the doorway, he now can show them with a quick release of the snaps.
